Lunchtime - I've cracked! I couldn't face it. I got out of bed but just couldn't face it. So you know what I didn't. I fronted up to the little running man in my head and said enough is enough. I need another hours sleep. So I jumped back into bed. I have to say that it has been a good decision. It gives me another 7/8 hours of recovery before I need to head out this evening for 4 mile tempo run at half marathon pace.
Evening - I had these great intentions in coming home from work, having a bite to eat and then head out for the tempo run. As I am writing this at 9pm my desire to strap on the shoes is deminishing by the second as the clock ticks round to bedtime. I will not go out tonight and will use tomorrow's day off to catch up on this evening's tempo run.
Once again defeated by the evening's schedule. I think that if I do not fit in the run in the morning before work then it is very difficult to motivate yourself having sat down for an hour or so. I don't feel too bad as I can catch up tomorrow.
No numbers!
