Week 6 - Rock of Gibralter - Day 40 of 112

My heel - it does look a bit like a foot doesn't it?
I have been doing extensive research into achilles exercises - to be truthful I have looked at the first page on a Google Search and come up with what amounts to about 4 exercises that I can do. One web site www.pponline.co.uk claim that if I do their exercises then the Achilles will be like the Rock of Gibraltar - does that mean it will feel like a calcified two thousand year old piece of rock - really do not think that is what I am looking for. It was I must admit a strange simile to use. Starting the exercises tonight and on the face of it , it looks like alot of the exercises require be to ram my noses up against a wall whilst contorting my legs until I scream in pain. It's not zen that I need to be practising but yoga I think.

Strange half naked man on rollers
I feel that I have heartburn. This is not a good sign me thinks. The cold is still clinging on. I am sure that the stalactites and stalagmites that are now growing in my nose are a sure fire sign that I am almost there - I have said this before though. What is slightly worrying is that the cough is still there I have tried a couple of sharp breathes in to see if there is any rattle in my chest cavity but so far so good.

I am going to try a spin on the bike this evening. I have set up the rollers downstairs. I am writing this now in case I come off the bike and career into the door in the hall and am unable to finish the blog due to my injuries sustained.

Failed to get on the rollers as I needed to get to the supermarket to do the weekly shop. Tried some of the exercises and am already impressed at the pull that they are exerting on the calf and achilles. So much better than the lifts on the stairs. The new stretches work on frontal and spatial planes. May geton the rollers tomorrow dependant on what the physio says
