| Who doesn't like a bit of Kylie! |
On my way home bumped into one of ballet mums and I told her my story of woe about the achilles. I quite got carried away with telling her about Achilles Heel, stretching regimes and strengthening exercises as she nodded sagely. She could have been feigning interest. She then explained to me in some detail what was happening with the muscles and I thought to myself that she was quite the expert. I have now only realised sitting her typing why she knew so much. She's a doctor. Duh! It's been a long day. She did suggest that the cause of the latest blip may indeed ave been the interval session on the incline. She thinks that I have torn the muscle again. I need to let the damn thing heal to allow the fibres to form round the muscle again - I think that is what she said anyway. She suggested a roller to massage the tendon. Might give that a try. I am happy to try anything at the moment.
Had a spin for 30 minutes to keep the legs turning over. Felt nice and easy and had the cadence up at near 90 for the session.

Weighed myself today and I am down to 78.5kgs in my birthday suit. Pleased with this. Almost down to my fighting weight and I am only half way through the schedule.
I do hope that I can make the run on Sunday. I think that will give me a good idea how the training is going as I reach the halfway mark in the training.
Numbers - 30 mins - 113 avg HR - 88rpm
