Week 5 - A quarter of the way there! - Day 29 of 112

The alarm was still on weekend mode so cadged another hour in bed and left the 5 mile easy run till tonight. I had every intention to get a good nights rest after the weekend excesses but the computer demanded my attention up until 11pm. What I was looking at I cannot remember. The computer has that effect on you, drawing you in refusing to let you leave by being slow or crashing "don't go to bed.......you must finish this" and then leaving you in a rohipnol state of amnesia. And for what purpose. Need to shut the damn thing off before 10pm.

Back from the 5 miler this evening. Garmin was not charged and could not find my watch so I ran naked with only the IM Talk podcast for company. The weather was milder than I thought that it would be. The girls have been down with snivels and colds and up until now I have managed to dodge the bugs. Emma is the latest to go down and I wonder if I may have run out of luck. My nose was running throughout my outing and I felt a distinct lack of energy. Time to load up on the vitamin c and zinc as well as the multi vitamins. Usual rule of above the neck should be able to train but beneath the neck then it's a no no as you can cause yourself long lasting damage.

Achilles did not play up. Had the Triumphs on and they felt nice and comfortable. Exercises are going well. Weighed in this morning at 80.4 kgs.

Numbers - 5 miles - around 40 minutes
