Out to the pool this morning at Campbeltown and had a great swim. Got there a just after 8am and swam for about 40 minutes. Difficult to work out how many lengths that I actually did as the goggles kept filling up with water after every two lengths until I tightened them so tight I was hallucinating by the end. Three hours later and I still have those tell tale panda eyes. I have also noticed that the bridge on the gogles is about to disintegrate. Another set beckons. I guess a got around 2000m in. I was clocking just under 2 mins for each 100m which was pleasing. Cracked out the last 800m in 15.50 which was a bit of a surprise and sets me up nicely for the coming season of triathlons. The head movement was better and my feel for the water was good.
The library is closed on Monday so I cannot update the blog until Tuesday. It opens at 10am so I can get in then.

| Fix my dish and your dish! |
The hamstring remains tight. Stretching and strengthening is all that I can do at the moment. Did some strength lifts at the pool. I have bought a new tubi grip which makes by thigh resemble one of those turkey joints you get at Christmas. I have the distinct feeling that it is cutting the circulation to my feet as they have turned blue. I will persevere. It should stop the spread of the ruptured blood vessels and cause me less pain. So less pain in my hamstring but gangrene in my toes through lack of circulation. All good! I will try and run later in the day to see if I can make it three runs in a row.
Never managed out for a run. Sky TV put paid to that. They were meant to come out yesterday to fix the dish. No show. No bloody show! No contact from them either. 4 phone calls and 45 mins of my life waste talking to some idiots to try and get this resolved. I am so fed up that I have escalated this with them. The best part was when the women said that she was trying to manage my expectations to which I replied that this would not be very difficult as they were so low so very very low having already wasted so much time on this already. Every person in that organisation is rotten to the core. Rupert Murdoch - you can stick that dish up yer arse!
The turkey leg is not sore this evening. Will try a swim in the morning and a run tomorrow.
Swim numbers - 2000m - 42mins
